BDC Sponsors: Student Business Plan Competition
This January BDC puts $240,000 up for grabs for aspiring student entrepreneurs.

There will be local competitions in January 2007 with the following universities holding the local competitions: Simon Fraser University (British Columbia);University of Alberta (Prairies); University of Toronto - Mississauga (Ontario); Concordia University (Quebec); and Dalhousie University (Atlantic provinceslinks).

Prize Money: The top three national finalists will receive $75,000, $20,000 and $10,000.

Winners of the national competition will receive a business grant of $75,000 to get their business going. They will also meet with BDC Venture Capital representatives to obtain feedback on their business project. Via the Globe and Mail
