Big Business Blogs?
The Business Edge is reporting that "Corporations as massive as McDonald's and General Motors are wading into the online "blogosphere" - with employees and even business-suited executives setting up their own weblogs as a way to nurture ties with their tech-savvy customers." By The Canadian Press - For Business Edge

Blogs first arrived in 1994 and Wikipedia asserts that "Justin Hall, who began eleven years of personal blogging in 1994 while a student at Swarthmore College, is generally recognized as one of the earliest bloggers."

So they are a little late to the party. Innovation, in business especially in the 'marcom' space does not typically come from large business. It's often small business ownerslinks who try and test new ideas in an attempt to gain a competitive edge.

Welcome aboard big business.
