Business Development Bank of Canada Announces Creation of GO Capital Fund

This will be interesting to see how much this costs and how much it benefits taxpayers. Normally, I would not concern myself with the regional nature of this announcement as every province in this country gets federal assistance at one time or another.

This initiative responds to the need for pre-seed financing for Quebec businesses in the technology sector. I congratulate BDC and its partners for this support, which advances my government's efforts to develop a more productive economy by investing in science and technology.
