Distractions Disguised As Opportunities

successful entrepreneurs
usually have a well developed 'crap detector'. Keeping on track with your business plan is essential. After all, you spent many hours and, in some cases, money to create a plan.I think the most insidious distractions are presented by well meaning people who have an idea they want you to consider. You must always consider the source. Does this person have a strong track record? How many times have you been approached by someone with an MLM opportunity?
I was approached by someone who was pretending to be an interested prospect. It smelled funny to me, but I agreed to meet anyway. After all the time they spent in building rapport with me, I politely turned them down. I also asked him how much money he was making and his response? "Not much yet."
Your ability to remain true to your plan and stay on track is directly linked to your willingness to remain steadfast to your commitment to build YOUR business. You don't allow yourself to be thrown off track by distractions disguised as opportunities!
