Manage for Business Success
Industry Canada has a great resource called 'Strategis' that has numerous free resources including "self-assesment tools, articles and resources for "owners and managers of small and medium-sized businesses who need sources of practical information, tools and advice for just-in-time solutions to their management challenges."
I looked over their "Manage for Business Success" section and found that it contains a heft directory of information including Finance, Marketing and Sales, Human Resources, Administration, Operations Management, Strategy, Leadership, Innovation and Technology, and Business Support. The content is pretty good and if you look around there are a few gems like "Companies that lead their industries in profitability and sales growth get 49% of their revenues from services and products developed in the last five years. The least successful ones get only 11% of sales from new services and products." on the Steps to Competitiveness page. Poke around and see what you find, worth the visit.
