Training Employees in Canada
To the degree that you and your employees continue to grow and develop new skills and competencies so grows your business. Training will also increase their confidence to do the job properly and help them keep up with new methods and technologies.

Once employees have proven themselves, increase their responsibilities. Encourage employees to continually upgrade their skills competencies, and knowledge of employees is a great way to retain employees in tight labour conditions.

Well known training methods:
  • Orientation

  • Lecture, Presentation

  • Computer Based Training

  • Apprenticeships and Internships

  • Role Playing

Here are a few additional training methods that you might not have tried:
  • Case Study

  • Simulations

  • Job Rotation

  • Self-Instruction

  • Audio Visual Training

  • Team Building Exercises

  • Employee-to-Employee Training

In my experience an employees greatest unspoken concern is contribution to the health and well-being of the business - they want to know that they are making a difference and that their efforts benefit the business.
