Viral Marketing: Who Woke Kodak Up? Oops, we did!

Filed in archive Marketing by Greg Balanko-Dickson on January 25, 2007

This was an internal video designed to wake up the troops. Now it is so popular Kodak has released it onto the WWW via YouTube. I laughed and laughed as they make fun of themselves and pull their hair out. Talk about a kodaklinks moment!

The announcer goes from a sedate, corporate presenter to a piercing comedic insult comic that is "not playing grab ass anymore" and "pictures that learn and organize themselves. BooYaa! while they turn up the schmaltz back up to 11!"

Is video becoming an important part of the your online marketing arsenal? You bet it is and so is digital photography. Hey there you in the executive suite viral marketing is not some cold that runs through your marketing department. It is all about making customers into evangelists.
