Women Entrepreneurs: Leading Change In Canada

I can say that from my experience women entrepreneurs are more organized, know their limits, and are more willing to get help with the areas they do not have skills or experience with. I have noticed a lot more women entering the business areas, the CIBC report confirms:
"In the last 15 years the number of women entrepreneurs has grown by 50%. more than eight in ten (82%) women small business owners say that if they had it to do over again, they would definitely open their own businesses."
Highlights from the report:
- Women Drive Self-Employment Growth
- One-Person Operations Are Driving Small Business Growth
- 21% of Women Forced Into Self-Employment , 33% for Men
- Women Entrepreneurs Are Getting Older
- Women Entrepreneurs Are Increasingly Well-Educated
- Women Entrepreneurs Do Not Want To Be Treated Differently

"Women are at the forefront of two primary drivers of current small business growth: the rise in one-person operations and "seniorpreneurs" (small business owners over the age of 55)."
I have a lot of respect for women entrepreneurs as they are tenacious, realistic, and driven. Plus they have good business sense aka intuition that they use to assess their business and make decisions.
Hey guys, we can learn a lot from the ladies. It's time we paid attention.

I would agree with you. The more I read about women entrepreneurs the more I get inispired by them. There are so many role models out there.
