1. Set clear boundaries between work and home.
2. Take time for yourself and your family.
3. Put your family and home life first.
4. Set realistic business goals.
5. Efficiently manage your time.
This is part two of a six part series with tips, suggestions, and recommendations, today we talk about how to "Take time for yourself and your family." but for many small business owners it is easier said than done. From my business coaching website here are four things you can do to make it easier to "Take time for yourself and your family."
1. Get help from a specialist: bookkeeper, assistant or others who can and will do a better job than you can with a specific task.
2. Resist the urge to do everything: while my analogy of a symphony conductor trying to play every instrument, note by note is ridiculous - I have seen other runners - including myself - attempt to do this very thing. It is like trying to keep all the plates spinning - at some point have to make a judgment call - enough is enough.
3. Get people to help you: the first step is to ask for help. Often entrepreneurs are reluctant or hesitant to seek help. They feel it is a sign of weakness. No one said you had to do everything. The best people to rely on for this type of support is to ask friends, family or even customers for feedback on how they dealt with similar situations. They may know someone who can help you or someone they used in the past who may be able to assist you to achieve your objectives.
4. Calculate the cost: just make sure that the price you pay for your success - is a price you can afford and are willing to pay.

If anyone explores the issues from a variety of perspectives they will come to know how larger cultural discourses frame our understanding and experience of work and life.bussiness soars only in condition if our home and work is balanced. the conservative attitude of entrepreneurs sometimes lead them to the tunnel of misseries.

Many times self-employed business people are control-freaks thinking if they manage every little detail in their business that somehow everything will run smoother. This comes at a great expense in time - long work hours. The long hours then start to affect time with their family. They just need to realize that delegation is one of the keys to successfully running a business without running around trying to put out fires. In Stephen Covey's book 7 Habits, he talks about how we can categorize different activities we do daily/weekly into 4 quadrants: important/urgent, important/not urgent, not important/urgent, not important/not urgent. By recognizing where family truly resides, the business owner will begin to shift their focus.

You can't ever settle for something you don't like. That is not living. Live life to the fullest!

Sometimes people don't always see the light and need to take a step back and actually see what they are missing.
