Use The Blog To Add Value
I believe that people have the perception that the information is free. Nothing could be further from the truth. Nothing in life is free. If you read something and decide to do something with it, you will have to pay some sort of 'price' to incorporate it.
I heard somewhere that 90% of people do not get past the first chapter in a book. Why would it not be the same on the Internet?
People will visit my web site and many will like it. Some will even be impressed. However, most will not use the information. So you might be thinking, if that is the case then the project has failed. Hardly. I maintain that over time, via email or subsequent visits, if people believe they have received value - I have begun to build a relationship.
If, I am good at maintaining and building that relationship then I will someday do some business with them. Remember, it is one thing to read some information and think 'I should do that.' It is quite another to actually use the information!
