As I was looking for a selection of Breitling watches online, an article came up about an amazing flight stunt. Have you ever heard of Jetman? His real name is Yves Rossy. I remembered having seen a TV program that featured him and his flight…as in, a suit that itself is the flying machine! This means that the man wearing it actually jets through the air. Well, the feat that I was recently reading about involved Jetman actually flying in formation with real jets…in fact, the Breitling Jet Team. A human being jetting along with real jets. How amazing is that? Sounds like something that Leonardo Da Vinci would love to see! I can't imagine the level of expertise Jetman has, besides, of course, nerves of steel in order to achieve such an accomplishment in flight history. This isn't his first such accomplishment, however. He has also flown across the English Channel, across the Grand Canyon, and even looped around a hot air balloon. I can't imagine the level of precision flying that the looping would require. What an incredibly fine-tuned understanding of flight dynamics and what fine-tuned physical control he must possess. I would imagine it often takes only a slight shift in angles to follow a trajectory and when a greater shift is required, it would have to be highly controlled in order not to over do it. Amazing!
